Abstract: in this talk, I will introduce our works on developing machine learning models for solving different problems in combinatorial optimization, including those from electronic design automation, computational chemistry and quantum computing. In particular, I will discuss our recent progress and thoughts on machine learning for combinatorial optimization.
Speaker's Bio: Junchi Yan, Full Professor in Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He is the PI of many major projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology/NSFC/Ministry of Education. He was once the chief researcher of cognitive computing with IBM China Research. He has published over 120 CCF-A papers as first/correspondence authors, and the google scholar citation is approaching 14000. He is a Fellow of IET.
